Some information about Chef Tisu...

Chef Alexandru Tisu was born and raised in a small city on the south coast of Romania called Alexandria

The first contact with food was early in life cooking alongside his mother. After graduating high school, he moved to Bucharest, where he joined the Romanian American university of business and economics.

The love for food developed as the summers were dedicated to fish and hunting. After graduating, he joined the culinary school and started as an apprentice chef at one of the few French restaurants in Bucharest at the time, Maison Mignon.

After 2 years spent in the kitchen almost every day, he decided to start a new journey in Britain. He spent 6 months in a classic restaurant -pub in Cambridge, only then to decide time has come for the big stage.
